Essential: a) Ph.D. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, specialization in Thermal Engineering (thesis submitted/awaiting defence also eligible); OR b) PG degree (M.E./M.Tech./M.S., incl. integrated PG) with specialization in Thermal Engineering + 3 years post-qualification industry experience; OR c) Graduate degree in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering + 5 years post-qualification industry experience. Desirable/preferred (not a formal eligibility gate): Strong fundamentals in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat transfer; 3D modelling, CFD/FEA analysis, CAD design, fabrication and control system design; technical writing skills. Tenure: 24 months. Age limit 40 (5-year relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwD and female candidates).
